Give Thanks to the Lord: His Love Endures Forever | Psalm 107:1

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good." Notice this doesn't say thank Him when you feel happy or when life goes smoothly. It says thank Him because of who He is. His goodness isn't dependent on your circumstances—it's woven into His very nature. When you give thanks to God, you're not pretending everything is fine; you're affirming a deeper truth that remains true even in hard seasons.

"His loving kindness endures forever." This phrase is almost too good to be true. Forever means no end. It means His kindness toward you didn't begin because you earned it, and it won't stop because you failed. His love is patient. It shows up when you're broken. It meets you in loneliness. It holds you when you can't hold yourself. That's the kind of love the Psalmist is asking us to acknowledge.
